Hannah Valentine, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist and doctoral candidate at New York University.

Hannah works in the Motor Speech Lab at the Communicative Sciences and Disorders Department under advisement from Maria Grigos, Ph.D., CCC-SLP. She advanced to candidacy in Spring 2025.

Hannah's primary research focus is on childhood apraxia of speech, with a particular emphasis on early identification and intervention. She also has research projects investigating vowel production and automated analysis in children with speech sound disorders. She specializes in perceptual, acoustic, and survey methods.

Hannah received her masters in speech-language pathology from University of Washington in 2017 and her bachelors in speech, language, and hearing sciences from University of Colorado in Boulder in 2015. Hannah worked as a clinical speech-language pathologist in early intervention for three years before pursuing her doctorate.
